Simply Baby Bonnet, by Fig&me

As promised in the very recent newsletter, here is the little free knitting pattern for a smashingly simple baby bonnet.

This wee little knitted hat has been finished and tested for quite a while now. Baby Joni modelled it for us a long time ago, and yet the time slipped away and I didn't manage to offer it to you all, lovely people.

But wait no more, it is available now, as a free download for your knitting fingers.

I hope you enjoy it, as it comes off quick as quick can be. It is meant to fit dolls with very soft hair that does not bulk up in the back with a maximum head circumference of about 14".

The ties are done in crochet, but you can also knit them with i-cord (instructions for i-cord are not in the pattern).

If you manage to make one, quick as a flash, please do send me a photo.

I would love to see it modelled by other dolls. So off you go, time to get some chunky yarn and get knitting. Enjoy!.

And if you would like to find a few more beginner knitting patterns geared to dolls, please head over to my store. I have quite a few in the roost:  Knitting patterns by Fig & me.
