Hi.

Welcome to my dollmaking journal. I write doll stories, share tips on this creative journey and so much more. Hope you enjoy your visit!.

Handmade love

Oh yes, I am in the midst of bringing you the summer instalment of cute and fluffy cashmere bunnies. I would dare say I have a few tricks up my sleeve with this batch, but I won't reveal surprises.

I had hoped to finish these wee babies sooner, but the weather proved contrary to my plans. When it's nice and sunny in Canada you just can't be inside. So I am shooting for an end-of-the-week extravaganza, they will all be sold on the same date, instead of the usual staggered sale.

Yesterday I was in a bit of pain. But good pain I should mention. My cheeks still hurt from grinning. I have received almost all the information I need in order to create my next group of custom dolls and I do have to say it one more time: I am incredibly lucky and blessed to be able to do what I do, and to always meet up with people who give me plenty of creative license and allow me to dig deep into their history in order to create a doll for them. I shared this quote on facebook yesterday, but I will share it here as well, as it states how I feel, perfectly:

“Let the beauty we love, be what we do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground”.
