My Imogen: a free knitting pattern for your sweet doll.

If you like making simple things to accessorize your dolls, look no further than a simple knitted collar. With this free knitting pattern you will be able to make just the cozy item your sweet doll needs.

A sweet and simple free knitting pattern for a wool collar, dress your doll in style! By Fig and Me.

“My Imogen” is as simple as it gets, but that doesn’t mean it delivers less than stellar results. Sometimes in life the little things are the ones that make the heart grow fonder. And in my opinion is the addition of the sweet embroidered lazy daisy stitches that turns this collar into a fab-must-have.

Look no further, and give it a go. This little collar is for absolute beginners, it’s knit flat, and is basically a huge rectangle gathered at the neck with the aid of the leather ribbon. Get your fancy yarn ends to make the flowers and voila. Dolly knit success accomplished.

Full disclaimer: I already gave it away for free to my loyal newsletter subscribers, so if you are not on Stitchy Notes, you might want in. I don’t send freebies all the time (you know, the dolls are so bossy) but I do send them first via my newsletter.

It’s a long weekend in Canada and I have been sitting a few afternoons under the shade of our maple tree already. I am playing with a very tall custom doll who requires a lot of stories before she heads to bed, and then saying good bye to my lovely Spring collection who shall be going home quite soon. I wish you blossoms and shade, scented breezes, yummy slices of cake and herbal teas, wherever you are.
