Summer is,
a cozy bed that you don't have to get out off early in the morning
hazy days full of laughs and scampering feet on my hallway
a fresh cup of juice first thing every day
sewing interrupted for reading Beatrix Potter and Lewis Carroll
early snacks all around
bare feet and lounge pants all day
Summer is
linen dresses and long hair
silly smiles and silly requests
(can I also have a stole to go with my dress, please?)
the wind on your hair and the grass on your legs
Summer is
full of surprises
full bellies
full hearts
full work tables
full laundry baskets
Summer is so full.
