This Spring I will be teaching two different doll making workshops for natural art dolls in Portugal and Spain.

As you can see, there will be a variety of places I will be teaching, hoping I can get closer to you and share the passion I have for natural fiber art dolls.
Making Miss Teacup | Doll Workshop
This is a 3-day workshop, usually Friday-Sunday in full days. I will teach you how to create a doll with a wired neck construction, needle felted facial details and jointed at knees and shoulders with wooden beads.
The doll is quite small at around 10” tall and this class is for intermediate dollmakers who want to expand their skills. There are a few options to tackle hair for your little doll.
In this workshop I discuss a lot pattern design and doll mobility. So if that’s something that truly interests you as a dollmaker, feel free to join us.
Price: $480 USD
Sculpting a Doll Face Workshop
This is a 2-day workshop, where we’ll build a doll head together and sculpt it entirely in wool with needle felting techniques. You will learn how to create a doll head of extremely high quality, that will not lose the shape in years to come and how to sculpt the facial features to resemble a young child. Then I will show you how to expertly cover the wool sculpting with doll skin fabric.
I will then teach you how to embroider expressive eyes that will make your doll come alive, sharing all my tips and techniques accumulated in 15 years of being a doll maker.
We will only tackle the doll head in this workshop geared to learn more about wool sculpting. I will give you guidance about which doll pattern is suitable to continue making this doll at home.
Price: $370 USD
In both cases the supplies are not included and you will need to do some homework via tutorial videos I will send you so you can be well prepared for our workshop.
