This little girl has been kept under wraps long enough. I thought it was about time to share her sweet face around this corner. Hope you like meeting my sweet Aibreann.
Aibreann reads so many books that at some point in time we thought she was going to need glasses. We took her to the Eye Doctor and he reassured us it is not necessary, but Aibreann shouldn't read so late into the night. He did advise her eyes need some rest, every now and then. But when you are so passionate about reading, like Aibreann is, it is very hard to put a stop. Right?.
Perhaps you can see some of Aibreann's particular details. Her perky nose, her freckles, her deep green eyes, her auburn hair. The one thing that Aibreann suggested, more like demanded, was that she wanted beautiful round shoulders. I have always dreamed of giving my dolls pleasing body parts and while I am always shaking things up, I really love the way we created her shoulders.
I say we, because doll making (while solitary) is never accomplished by one will. The dolls have requests, demands, needs that must be met. You think you are going to make them one way but in the end they are the ones that decide what is best for them. Every.single.time.
Aibreann will be showing you the fabulous outfit we have created together, and the whimsical friend that will accompany her adventures. She is a custom doll so don't fall in love too hard, her heart is already taken.
