A snowy day and new overalls.
My sweet Nova had to spend one more week here with me, while I fussed about a few things I wanted to send her home with. We decided on sensible overalls, that can get her to work and keep her tidy, while she delivers the daily news via a-town-crying. You must remember her professional wishes, right?.
Yes, overalls was just the thing she needed. Something sturdy, yet warm. Cozy. But not boring. The added lined patch-pocket fulfilled the practicality requirements, while the bubble-ness got that smirch of 'playful' that I like to put in all my doll clothing. Nova approved, even more so because she got to select the wooden buttons and was mesmerized by the use of the sewing machine. What a curious little one!
So, without further ado, we must pack this lovely girl and send her home. I am afraid her snow adventures are coming to a sudden end, what with the unending summer of her California new residential address. She remains hopeful that she’ll get to meet the Pacific Ocean, sandy beaches and a few marine animals. The thought!
Now, fare thee well my darling. You spent a whole year here with me, and I wish you the best of luck. Say hi to the dolls that will welcome you, and don’t forget to make yourself useful.
PS. I have it on good authority there is one little girl here who wants to come out and meet you. Perhaps you should drop by this weekend to take a peek. I shall say no more.
