I have discovered that almost all my doll clothes fit the tallest 3 sizes quite indiscriminately. How's that for easy peasy? So, I will be adding a few outfits tomorrow to the shoppe. I promise to sew next time for the Little Figs, so stay tuned.
Mademoiselle Cherry was so very kind to serve as my model for these two sets, that fit the 21" Figlettes. A set of pyjamas (or summer clothes) in airy and light blue gingham plus a long nightgown made with ecru muslin and lace appliqué, with hem trimmed in broderie anglaise.
Then we discovered that the clothes I make for the 16" dolls, also fit the 21" Figlettes but shorter of course, on arms and legs, which adds to their charm I would say. There is a pretty A-line dress made in navy linen, with topstitched centre-front pleat and wooden button, edged in Liberty bias (it fits the 21" Figlettes knee-high, and is a long dress on the 16" and 18" dolls). Plus we have a Sailor outfit, made with cotton twill for the top, and navy linen for the pants, with a star button to help your little Sailor find their way! The update will happen at 10 PM EST on Tuesday June 12.
I leave you now, as I am working on a very wonderful and mysterious little boy. He is a custom doll, and at the moment we are quite cross because we can't seem to find his shadow...perhaps that Wendy will help us sew it to bottom of his boots!.
