Needle Felting a Baby Face, New Online Class 2022
Hello friends!
As promised earlier this year, I have gone and published the new online class for my Dollmaking Academy: Needle Felting a Baby Doll Face.
This class is not for beginner dollmakers or for beginner needle-felters either. If you really want to learn to needle felt doll faces, then I recommend some of my doll patterns or this class that is more suited to a beginner dollmaker.

This new class is more suitable for people who already have some experience making dolls, assembling them, and who would have no trouble adapting a pattern to suit the baby doll’s head size, etc.
The class only provides you instruction on how to make the head, felt it and sculpt it. So therefore you will need to complete the doll on your own.
The class is now open and you can sign up for it to learn these more advanced needle felting and sculpting doll faces techniques.

I really fell in love with the baby head I made during the production of this class, and contrary to proclaimed intentions with my online classes, I think I am going to make him into a full-bodied doll and look for adoptive parents later this year. For now, he is wrapped tightly in a baby blanket, awaiting his turn.

I have been eyeing all sorts of knitted baby clothes and while my hands are busy working on three custom dolls at the moment, I know I am going to go full on baby mode right after. Maybe I will be able to invoke Spring!
