Hi.

Welcome to my dollmaking journal. I write doll stories, share tips on this creative journey and so much more. Hope you enjoy your visit!.

Do you fancy a papoose?

Oh man! do I have exciting news to share or what? Just keeping this inside me has been eating away for what has been now more than a year, almost two I would say. That is too long for my little brain to handle to be quite honest. Anyways, I am pleased to announce that now you can find the pattern for the ever-so-slightly-sneaky Papoose on the new book of talented seamstress, mother of two, and beautiful friend, Meg McElwee: Growing Up Sew Liberated.

I feel so proud that something I created is in this wonderful book, along so many other creative and awesome patterns to make for your children. If you like to sew and you have little ones around you, this is the book to get. The book comes with full size patterns so there is no need to enlarge anything.

Meg has already blogged about it, where you can see many of the patterns included in the book, as well as instructions on how to make a waldorf style doll, called the Little Amigo. The book is also on some sort of tour of blogging and creative mamas, and you can check it out over here.

Like I mentioned, if you know how to sew and have been trying to buy one off me, and cant wait any longer for my random papooses updates, then this book is for you. You can buy it directly from Meg, and get a signed copy and a free pattern to make a reading pillow!.

Now I just need to wait a little longer to get mine in the mail and start making that beautiful teepee for my girls (a project that has been in the works since the beginning of this world). Hot off the presses people, go and get one and get cracking!

Come with me...in the garden.

A day of adventure
