Marketing your Natural Fiber Art Dolls, the Dollmaking Business Series Part 3

Marketing your Natural Fiber Art Dolls, the Dollmaking Business Series Part 3

Finally, the third and last part of The Dollmaking Business series. To check out the previous sessions you can visit Part: How to Start Selling Your Dolls and Part 2: Pricing your Handmade Dolls.

If you are new to Fig&me, this series was conducted via Instagram Live sessions back in October 2019. I have now edited the videos and loaded to my YouTube channel so you can mostly listen, but also watch the slides, of the content I put together for these informal but highly informative sessions.

For the video on How to Market your Handmade dolls you can check it out here:

I consider Marketing as just a way to create more awareness for your dolls. Thinking of creative ways and helpful ways to get in front of more people, in order to reach those who might respond to the kind of work you create and hopefully become some of your best customers. In order to do that I though of the different avenues, most of which I use on a daily basis.

You can watch the video and listen to all the advice I have to give regarding these different platforms but you can also download the PDF version of the Live session by putting your information in the box down below. Please know that by entering your email to this box you are subscribing to my Newsletter “Love Letters” and to my Stitchy Notes newsletter, which is devoted entirely to dollmaking themes. You can of course unsubscribe at any time.

I did give a final and very detailed fourth session on Doll Photography, as I consider it a vital way to market your work, unfortunately I ran out of internet connection just as the session was ending and was unable to click ‘save’ on my Live chat so it vanished into thin air.

I was highly distraught for several days about it and to be honest, haven’t quite recovered. I put so much work and effort into it. I have a pdf made of that information but will update it and perhaps offer yet again another Live session in the near future so we can all talk about doll photography.

For now you can check out this post I wrote some time ago which does come with a little pdf photography guide as well.

Thank you for attending these sessions if you joined me Live, and if you are just discovering them, I sure hope they bring some light, clarity and HOPE that you can too turn your dollmaking passion into a thriving business.

I don’t want you to go at it with your eyes closed, like I was.

I want you to have way more information, tools and resources, so you spend less of your life hours trying to figure things out. I do this because I feel dollmaking saved me in so many ways, and it has helped my family thrive through many difficult situations. I am incredibly grateful to have discovered it and to have had the innocence of heart to try to give it a go as a business. It was one of the many blessings I have received in my life.

I wish you great success in your adventures and a thriving doll making business.
